500,000 SEK for an EV is $50,000 US…that’s about the cost of a mid-range Tesla Model Y in the USA,

Sweden’s population is about 10 million - compared to 330 million in the USA. So this initiative in Sweden is costing about $82 per person per year. Which is about 0.17% of each person’s income.

And the 8.2 billion SEK spent on public green energy is about $820 million US.

Why do some young mothers trick a guy into believing that they're pregnant and it's their child when years later they find out that it's not even theirs should he still pay child support or not?

So - since not many people here know much about Sweden’s economics - let’s do a quick translation into US dollars. The conversion rate is about 10 SEK to the dollar.

I agree that the price of EV’s in Sweden represents a larger percentage of average income than in the USA. Probably because Sweden doesn’t make their own EV’s and importing such things isn’t cheap.

But the Swedish government’s expenditure on green energy initiatives doesn’t seem too outrageous.

Is using an ambulance really free in countries with universal healthcare, or are there hidden costs like deductibles that people should know about?

Average salary in Sweden is SEK 481, 200 which is about $48,000 US. The average salary in the USA is $59,428 - .
